Description:
- Halfmoon is a grey silverish tom with long haired fur that covers his paws when he sits. His hair makes it hard for him to breath when the weather turns hot in Green-Leaf.
Halfmoon's eyes are a deep shade of blue, almost like pools of water on a sunny day. It relaxes cats to gaze into them, apparantly.
Personality:
- Halfmoon is a calm cat, one who never loses his cool. This is why he was most suited to become the medicine cat, as he never flinches when he applies a poultice to a wound, and he never winces at other cats' pain.
Perhaps this is why he is also a cold-hearted cat. Halfmoon seems to have lost all affection for anything in the world other than his work as a medicine cat. He has no wish to take a mate, and does not laugh or cry at other cats' pain or joy. Perhaps taking a mate would do him good, but he is unwilling to do so.
History:
- Halfmoon was born a happy cat, one that would play and laugh with his siblings all day like any other normal cat would. Though one day, his mother, the one he loved very dearly, caught a case of greencough. By this time then, Halfpaw was a medicine cat's apprentice, and tried desperately to save his mother from Greencough.
In the end, he failed. His mother died a slow, agonizing death, and Halfmoon changed on that day to the cold, unfeeling cat he is today, focused solely on his work as a medicine cat. He has never been able to forget his mother's death.
