Week Before-
Raven sighed sadly as she gave one last glance behind her at the forest she once called home. "No turning back." She murmured softly to herself and she continued on, her heart hurt and broken.
Now-
Raven stared at the spot she had been at days before, remembering the thoughts that had been flying through her head. She hadn't turned back once.. Until now. She had come back to look at her home once more, feeling a longing to go back and train with her friends and sister but now.. She was rejected and alone. A small tear slid down her cheek but she puffed out her chest slightly, confidently. She hadn't seen Cartle and the others in days... It had been a while since she had been with them. One day she had met them, after being vanquished from the clan, but she had moved on, thinking that she wouldn't come back.. But she had. And now, she realized, she had no friends to turn to. Everyone was gone. Even Niceoli. She had lingered with him a little longer than the others but never really got to know him. She had heard the rumors, yeah, but she had rumors about her to right? She sighed and finally turned away again and walked out farther away from the clans, stopping at the river she used to swim in with her mom when her mom used to train her how to swim in case she ever drowned and.. Now she had no family either. All the happy memories she had weren't something she liked to look back on now. She blinked away more tears that threatend to spill and lied down by the water, staring at her reflection. She had done the right thing. Right? |

Nicolae mumbled coldly to himself at the thought of Cartel and Hailey. "I can't believe he ditched me for a she-cat! A pesky one a that," He mumbled the last part. "I'll skin that boy next time I catch up with him," Growled Nicolae as he paused to carelessly lash out at the ground. As always he smelled of the multiple scent of she-cats which masked his own, original, scent. He gave an annoyed hiss as he glanced around, he needed something to calm him down..Catnip..anything. He sighed as he leaned against a tree to steady himself, "Go get Facebook, I promised Hailey I'd go with her," He mocked coldly as Cartel's voice. "I swear he makes me wanna gag!" Complained the brown tabby as he ranted to himself.

Raven was so caught up in her thoughts she barely heard the voice nearby. Finally, the sound struck her ears and she slowly opened her eyes, a small snarl emerging from her throat. She sniffed the air and smelled a slight scent of male.. And tons of she-cats. But the voice sounded male. "Some perv." She hissed irratatedly and she let out a slow warning snarl, taking a step backwards. She still could not see the cat that she had heard. She crouched low to the ground, hiding in the shadows to catch the cat by surprise if they tried to sneak up on her. Her claws slowly came out of her paws and she pulled her lips back to reveal long fangs. |

Nicolae's ear twitched coldly as he turned his eyes towards the snarl, "God...I need some catnip," He grumbled in annoyance. He was addicted to the stuff, it was like a drug to him. Sighing he rolled his eyes before stepping from the bushes while stretching his long tabby legs. He glanced from side to side before cocking an eyebrow up and the other down, "Funny, last time I met up with you we ended up being pretty reasonable buds," He mewed as he twitched his white whiskers.

Raven heard the voice and a slight recognization rang in her mind. "Nicolae?" She blinked and emerged from the shadows, a slight look of wonder and confusion on her face. "What- What are you doing here? I expected to see you with Cartel or Facebook..." She said, still slightly stunned to see him here. She finally walked all the way out of the shadows, her white fur gleaming in the light. Her blue eyes flashed as she took in his familiar pelt and eyes. He seemed.. Aggitated. |

"Don't get me started, the kid," By kid he meant Cartel, it had always been his pet name for him, "Ditched me for Hailey, and Facebook...Well he's no fun anymore," Sighed Nicolae in reply as he glanced around. "Hey have you seen any catnip around here, I know it the middle of winter but there's gotta be some somewhere," He sighed as he sat against the cold snow.

Raven tilted her head to the side, confused when he talked about Cartel but she could only imagine what that was about. She scoffed at the part he talked about Catnip and rolled her eyes. "You're still hooked on that stuff? Oh my god I can't believe you." She raised one eyebrow as if he was so unpredictable but then she just finally perched on her haunches and licked a paw to draw over her ear. "As for seeing any, well, as you said, it is the freaking middle of winter so does it look like there would be any around?" She rolled her eyes again but humor lit the middle of them, a slight hint of the side of her that disapeared with her spot in the clans. ((Got to go to bed... G night)) |

"Still? Ask Cartel or House, I've always been hooked on it," Replied Nicolae as he shakily licked his chest fur a few times, "God, I hate the winter!" Moaned Nicolae. It was like he would die if he didn't get his paws on catnip anytime soon, his teeth clenched in grim annoyance as he glanced from side to side. "So whats been happening in your world Baby?" He snickered as he looked her over. "I haven't seem you around the far lands in a while."

Raven smirked when he called her Baby but made no comment. She stretched slighltly, flicking a few snowflakes off her tail before curling it neatly around her paws. Then she flexed her claws in and out a few times before just shrugging slightly. "Guess I just wanted to bother the clans for a while. Get some fun back in my life. So I came back here." She rolled her emerald green eyes and looked at him. "Not like anybody misses me anyways." She muttered under her breath. She glared down at the ground and then dug her claws deep into the slightly frozen soil in annoyance. "I think I'll go back up there. Maybe. Maybe not. I don't really know anymore." |

Nicolae tipped his head in curiosity, "Shoot, it's boring down there. Up in my lands you get to attack a few fox's or dogs when you get the chance and maybe a wild cat or two, c'mon Rave." He mewed casually as he licked carelessly at his brown fur.

"Ya know that sounds very tempting." She muttered with a joking smirk. She smiled slightly though when he used her old nickname and she rolled her eyes but shook her head. "I guess I could go up there with you for a while. It can get pretty boring down here, you have a point." She shrugged and then stood up, stretching out her front paws in front of her. "As long as there's danger and some fun I'm okay with it." She said with a cold small smile. |

Nicolae grinned as he leaped to his paws with pride in his amber eyes. "Nice, when do you say we head back?" He grinned.

Raven rolled her eyes with a small smile. "Anytime that's good for you." She replied with a shrug as she rose all the way to her feet and shook off more snowflakes that covered her. She shook out her numb paws and then began walking out away from the border, pausing to wait for Nicolae. |
