Dawnshadow sat in the center of the camp, chewing on a small mouse, deep in thought. Finally, she sighed and rose up to her small black feet and walked up the path to Shadestar's den. Her midnight black pelt shimmered as she leaped up the stones to the entrance and then she hesitated there for a moment, her emerald eyes glowing. She perched by the entryway, the lichen that covered the entrance slightly obscuring the view of the inside. The sun was rising slowly and it shone off of the recently fallen snow in glimmers of light. "Shadestar?" She called quietly into the den, wondering if he was in there.

"What is it now?"
A voice sounded from the back of the den as Shadestar got off of his nest, pieces of the moss clinging to his fur here and there. The tom didn't even bother to shake it off, as he never did, so why start now? Getting up slowly, the leader padded over to the entrance of the den and glanced around, his green eyes narrowing as he loooked at the black shape outside.
"Well, if you're going to come and disturb my sleep, then you might as well come in." He meowed with a wave of his tail. "We're not going to get anything done by you simply standing out there."

Dawnshadow sighed and pushed her way through the lichen into the inside of the den. She sat near the entrance and smiled at him slightly before then blushing in embarassement. "I'm sorry Shadestar. I didn't mean to wake you." She dipped her head to him respectfully and then looked at him, a small gleam in her green eyes. "I just thought that I would come in to talk to you. I don't have an important reason and I apologize again for waking you for something so unimportant.." She trailed off with a small shrug. Being polite just wasn't her but she had to be respectful towards him. She then flicked the tip of her black tail back and forth. A small snowflake made it through the entrance and landed near her paws and she watched as it melted slowly.

Shadestar sighed, but he wrapped his tail around his paws as he eyed the she-cat curiously through narrowed green eyes. "What's done is done." He meowed with a wave of his paws. It wasn't really anything important, anyways. There never was any point in just sleeping, in his opinion. It was just out of boredom.
"Now, what was it that you want to talk about?" he inquired. It wasn't often that the warriors just came in to simply talk, and it struk him as strange. Usually, cats stayed away from him altogether, unless there was something urgent that had to be tended to right away.

Dawnshadow shrugged and sat down as well. "Not anything specific.. Just to.. Talk I guess." She looked at him with curious eyes. "It's not anything drastic or urgent.. Or important for that matter. I guess I just simply came to talk." She flicked her tail back and forth before curling it near her paws, just not over them. Her green eyes glowed softly as she looked at Shadestar and waited patiently for his reply. He seemed surprised that she was in here talking to him about nothing in particular.
