Northernlights head shot up in alarm, "You like me?" He seemed shocked, "No, no. I like you to Fallenstar, honest. I just didn't think you liked me or anything," He mewed as he gently pressed his nose against her shoulder. It seemed that they both were having the same problem.

Fallenstar blinked when she realzied what she'd told Northernlights. Stupid, stupid, stupid... She pretty much froze when she felt him press his nose against her shoulder, his words registering in her mind. She felt like she had when she one a game of mossball when she was a kit, giddy, excited, happy beyond belief...Northernlights liked her as well. They could become mates if he wanted to. The only problem would be, hopefully in the far off future, when Northernlights became Northernstar...she'd be dead. It would crush him...but she was selfish, she wanted him for her mate, nomatter what would happen in the future.

Fallenstar blinked, smiling a bit. "Yeah...sorry...I was just thinking...I mean...since you like me...and I like you..and I'm in heat..." the pretty calico leader's pelt grew hotter, knowing Northernlights would get it. Even if their mating didn't result in kits it would still make it official....

"I wouldn't need you to be there every moment of the day, Northernlights. You would take over for me as leader until the kits were old enough." Fallenstar mewed, frowning slightly. "Forget it...stupid idea anyways..."

Fallenstar purred softly when Northernlights licked her cheek, pressing her fur into his slightly. "So...you want to mate with me?" she asked, looking at him, sounding very unleader like, unsure and kinda nervous.

Fallenstar purred, the calico leader feeling Northernlight's tongue rasping over her cheek, liking the feeling. "I asked, mouse brain, of course I don't mind." she purred, her eyes glittering happily as she looked up at him. Northernlights would make a good leader some day, she was sure of it.

Fallenstar was breathing rapidly now, the pretty calico she cat trying to catch her breath. Part of her hoped that this would result in kits, but Northernlights still had so much to learn about being a leader...

Fallenstar purred softly, looking at Northernlights. "Come,we must get back to the clan before they start to worry...I love you, Northenlights." the pretty calico leader mewed. "Race you back to camp." She took off, darting back towards camp, feeling almost like an apprentice again.
